Four cookies keep the shop working and can't be switched off. On top of those we'd like to set advertising cookies, so we can tell whether an ad we paid for actually led to an order. Those are entirely your choice, and "no" is one click that we remember.
A small file the site asks your browser to keep, so the next page you open knows what the last one did — that you put something in your basket, or that you signed in. The law only requires your permission for cookies that aren't essential, like the ones that follow you around to sell you things.

We advertise on Google. If you say yes, their code runs on this site and sets their own cookies, so that when one of their ads leads to an order they can tell us which ad it was. That means those companies learn you were here.
We ask because we have to, and because it's a fair thing to ask about. If you say no, none of their code loads at all — it isn't loaded-but-disabled, it simply never arrives. Saying no costs you nothing and changes nothing about the shop.
What we'd send them: that an order happened, what it was worth, and the code from the link you arrived on. Not your name, not your address, not what you designed.

We do count how many people come to the shop, which pages they read and where they give up — otherwise we'd be guessing about what to fix. But it's done in a way that needs no cookie and no permission:
Because none of that is stored on your device or shared with anyone, there's nothing here for you to agree to — which is exactly why we built it that way.
When you press the button to pay, you go to Stripe's own page to type your card details. Stripe sets its own cookies there, on its own site, to spot fraud and keep your payment secure — that's covered by Stripe's privacy policy, and it only happens once you choose to pay.
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. You're welcome to — but the basket and the sign-in genuinely need theirs, so blocking them means the shop won't be able to remember what you added. Nothing else on the site is affected.
