Every stencil is made after you order it, so there are two parts to the wait: making it, then Royal Mail.

How long it takes

Making it: we make them in batches every couple of days. Made to order and dispatched within 3 days. You'll get an email the moment it's posted, with a tracking link.

We post to UK addresses. If you're outside the UK, email us before ordering and we'll quote.

Tracking

The dispatch email has your Royal Mail tracking number and a link. If you have an account, it's on your order page too.

Returns and cancelling

Two different rules apply, depending on what you bought.

Ready-made designs and pens

You have the full change-of-mind right the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you on anything bought online:

14 days to tell us — counted from the day after your parcel arrives. Email sales@ballbuddy.co.uk, or use the cancellation form if you'd rather. You don't have to give a reason.
Then a further 14 days to post it back. Telling us and sending it are two separate clocks — you don't have to do both inside the first fortnight.
Return postage: yours to pay, unless the item was faulty or not what you ordered — then we cover it and refund what you spent.
Your refund comes back within 14 days of the goods reaching us, to the card you paid with. It includes the standard delivery you paid on the way out — if you chose Tracked 24, we refund the Tracked 48 price.
Please send it back unused and in one piece. We can reduce a refund if it comes back damaged or obviously used, but we'd rather just sort it out with you.

Custom designs

Before we make it: cancel any time, for any reason, and get every penny back — including delivery. Just email us. We make them in batches, so there's usually a day or two of room.

Once it is being made: there's no change-of-mind return, because a stencil with your initials cut into it is no use to anyone else. That's the personalised-goods exception in regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and you tick a box at checkout confirming you understand it before you pay.

That exception covers changing your mind and nothing else. If it turns up faulty, damaged, or not the design you approved, you're covered in full — see below.

Faults and mistakes

If it arrives damaged, or it isn't what you designed, email a photo to sales@ballbuddy.co.uk. We make another and post it at our cost — your design is on file, so it's an exact repeat. That applies to custom and ready-made alike, and it never expires after a fortnight.

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 sit on top of everything on this page and we can't sign them away: goods have to be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Within 30 days of delivery a faulty item entitles you to a full refund if you'd prefer that to a replacement.

Changing your mind before it's made

Reply to your confirmation email. Until the order goes into production we can change the design, the pen colour or the address, or cancel and refund in full.
